So I acoustically cover the song Hold On by Green Day, this will be the ummm… fourth installment of Epicly Awesome Ryan Campbell EpicSauce Oozzing Guitar Cover Video Series. The song Hold On was released on Green Day’s 6th studio album Warning. This song is about when you loose everything and you think there is nothing left to Hold On to you have to “Hold on to yourself”. This song was written by Billie Joe Armstrong, his friend lost 3 friends in a year and wrote this song for him. Its a good song that sounds great on acoustic. Chords below:

So in the third installment of Ryan Campbell’s awesome guitar covers I cover another one of Green Day’s songs Chump. This installment was published to Youtube to obtain a wider audience. Chump is a song about someone you don’t know but you hate, the person that took away that one person you had feelings for, that one person who you know she doesn’t deserve, that “Magic man, egocentric plastic man” that you hate. But yet he still got the girl and you didn’t and what can you do? Nothing, you’re a Chump… and thats why the song fades into longview… Chords and Lyrics Posted below…

So here is another intense installment of Ryan Campbell guitar cover videos. This time I’m covering “Christie Road” by Green Day. One of my favorite songs. This song is about a place where Billie Joe Armstrong would go to “kill some time”. This kind of place is a place where you can go to escape everything, a place where you feel inner peace. That sort of place, everyone has that sort of place and we can relate to it. “Take away the strains of being lonely” just a place where you can go alone and not feel alone. This song is off their second album Kerplunk! Released in 1992. The Chords and lyrics will be posted below.

So in October I got a guitar for my birthday… since then I have been taking lessons. Green Day is my favorite Band and I have been learning most of their stuff. Here is a song titled “No Pride” on their Album Insomniac Released in 1995. Its a pretty easy song considering its all power chords. The Quality is Bad cause i recorded it live on a video chat with a friend but it still gets the image and sound across. So this is a little extra video you wont see on YouTube! I’ll Put the Tab Below:
