This is my personal blog that I update whenever I can. It is basically where I post news about Apple, Tech, and Random things. I mainly write about tech but there is the occasional story. This is also where I give my first impressions on technology and where I can write random stuff that is important to me. Today the iPad has been released! I am waiting for mine to show up in the mail! I’m not gonna do an unboxing, just a review a week from now. I’m also going to do many iPad videos too. But he WiFi only model of the iPad has been released today. This means the 3G + WiFi will ship in late April where as the iPad will ship today. I can’t wait to give my $0.02 on it, it looks like pretty solid device. A camera doesn’t matter and Apple has to be announcing iPhone OS 4.0 soon so there will be many new features with that. Someone has to jailbreak it too! There are so may capabilities with this device! So stay here on RyanCamp.com for iPad news.

So I was looking at all the iPad accessories I could purchase as a eagerly await my iPad’s arrival tomorrow and I noticed the 10w USB power adapter. It basically is the charger that comes with the iPad with a 6 ft extension cable, an extension cable that looks quite familiar, the one that comes with MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Every MacBook has a 6ft extension cable for their charger as well as the flip one. The iPad only comes with the flip one, my question is it the 6ft cable that comes with the MacBook work with the charger that will come with the iPad? Only time will tell.

Here is another corporate American holiday I love. St. Patrick’s day was the day St. Patrick died, St. Patrick wore blue, and he was BRITISH. So the entire holiday most Americans know is a LIE! But corporate America created it, just like they created Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. It is a reason for people to drink excess amounts of alcohol. It also gives Irish people to drink even MOAR! It also means people can eat the lovely Jewish meal of corn beef and cabbage, which is not Irish! I ALSO LOVE THE IRRELEVANT PARADES! YAY!!!! LOOK AT THE SHAMROCKS!!! THEY GIVE SO MUCH LUCK CAUSE THEY ARE CLOVERS!! No wonder people drink so much on this day…

So Apple released most, all of the iPad Accessories on sale accept for the camera connection kit. This accessory is one that intrigues me because the iPad would be great to bring on vacation and dump all the Photos off my memory card on to it. The kit from what i can tell, will include two connectors to the iPad, a SD Card reader and a USB port, now the USB port also is another point of interest for me. The iPhone OS is quite breakable and thus jailbreaks, does this mean that the iPad Camera Connection Kit USB port will be able to handle external USB devices through a hack through a modified iPhone OS? But all this cant happen if Apple doesn’t release it.

So today Apple has started collecting the money of those who want the iPad, and I ordered mine! I ordered the 32 GB Model with the official Apple iPad case and a 30-pin connector to VGA! NOW I HAVE NO MONEY FTW! I got the iPad so I could use it as a netbook and bring it with me in my bag for day to day use, I got the case to keep it safe and it has a logo on it, and i got the VGA connector so I could hand my precious iPad over to my father and he could use it for business keynote presentations. So now the hard part will be waiting till April 3rd. Actually I didn’t pay that extra $12 for shipping… does that mean it won’t come on April 3rd? :X
