Okay, so seeing as this is my first ever blog…review…thing on Ryan’s website, I will start out with a bang and come back 4 weeks later to write some crap review on some app or case no one likes.

Anyway, I have been recently going through my YouTube messages and I found one of my friends sending me a message saying that Sims 3 just came out and that she got it. I was pissed; first off, I LOVE the Sims, but I couldn’t get the game because my grades were going down, so I couldn’t get a new game.

I wondered if EA did the smart thing and released the game on the iPhone, so I checked, and what do you know, SIMS 3 on the Top Paid list, I looked over and it was $10.00, at first, I was hesitant, I only had like 11.00 bucks left in iTunes, but I purchased it anyway.

So on to the review, when I first launched the app, I wasn’t really expecting much, I KNEW that EA couldn’t pull off the Sims on a phone without some limitations, but was I wrong. When you first see that loading screen and hear that classic Sims music, you know EA didn’t screw up… on the title screen.

So basically you wait for like 5 seconds and the screen pops up where you pick an option, OF COURSE, everyone goes for Start Game, but if you want to read the instructions, so to the Help and About section and read up on stuff that you will already learn in the tutorial at the beginning of the game, but still you press START

Okay, so blah blah blah, make a Sim, blah blah blah, go through the options, and you get to a house and you can move and stuff, you can tell your Sim to do whatever, so first off, the graphics, where do I start… THEY ARE FREAKIN AWESOME, it’s like the look of the original Sims with a bit of touch up work. Look can move, the controls are great, and you can really do whatever.

Now if you’re not a Sim fan, then don’t spend money on this app, but if you are a fan, like me, I HIGHLY recommend this app for your Sim wanting pleasures.

Pros- Sims on an iPod, great graphics, controls, and music

Cons- Limitations in designing, no modding furniture and clothing, and you must unlock certain items

My Final Rating- 9/10
